Q14 .     Zoom Consent: In accordance with the BC Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, FAS Outreach Program, within the Faculty of Applied Sciences, is seeking your consent to host a virtual workshop with your child as a participant in the Hour++ of Code workshop. During this virtual workshop, participants are not required to turn their video on but can choose to do so if they see fit. Those in attendance of this program will be staff and/or volunteers of FAS Outreach Program as well as other registered participants and, if requested by their parents/guardians, the parents/guardians of other registered participants. The video conferencing software that will be used is Zoom, which is based in San Jose, California and therefore has servers based outside of Canada.
