In November 2014 a transit referendum will be held for the Lower Mainland in conjunction with the municipal elections. The SFSS, GSS, and SSFU are working together to advocate to students for the need for transit funding and capital improvement projects like the Burnaby Mountain Gondola. Working together we aim to ensure that students understand why a successful referendum is advantageous and that student votes support a referendum outcome that provides needed funding for public transit projects benefitting SFU.
