Inquiry into Action, Summer 2021

Description
Inquiry into Action is a short reading group series for developing a greater understanding of student power and practicing the skill sets needed to be an effective advocate for student needs within the Faculty of Science. Designed for curious union executives and members, this reading group will not only connect you to relevant readings, videos, and other materials on the topics of organizing and student power but will provide a space for practicing discussion and taking up space, to prepare you for going toe-to-toe with folks in the classroom, in meetings, and beyond. It will also connect you to your peers across departmental unions and help build Science unions’ collective capacity and relationality. If you have any questions or concerns please email Thomas Leischner at sci_engagement@sfu.ca
