The Kahoot quiz for SFU's Virtual Services Fair is fun and interactive way to learn more about some services at SFU. Before accessing the Kahoot, we need your consent with regards to the privacy implications (detailed below). Please read the information below and provide your consent. Please review the content below and follow the instructions to provide consent to the privacy implications of participating in the Kahoot game.

Pursuant to Section 33.1(1)(b) of the British Columbia Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (RSBC 1996, c. 165), I give my consent for SFU Student Engagement and Retention to disclose my personal information under the terms and conditions noted below.

1. The personal information to be disclosed is my user name, which may include my first and last name if I choose to enter them, information about my device, network, and internet connection, information about my usage of or the interaction with the above listed products, and other information I upload, provide, or create while using these products and platforms. I may request that they delete my information at any time.
2. Personal information will be disclosed to Kahoot, which is a service provider located in the US with data centres deployed globally.
3. My personal information is disclosed in order to participate as a user of these products and platforms.
4. This consent to disclose my personal information remains in effect so long as I continue to use the above-mentioned product.

Please be advised that the personal information you disclose to these products is stored on servers located outside of Canada. Storage of your personal information outside Canada means the information resides in a foreign jurisdiction and will be subject to that jurisdiction's laws. The data is stored indefinitely and privacy protection afforded by Canada's privacy laws will not apply. You may wish to review the list products' privacy policy before using their services.

The information you provide to SFU is collected under the authority of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (R.S.B.C. 1996, c165) S. 26(c) and the University Act (R.S.B.C. 1996, c 468). It is related directly to and needed by the University to administer the Month of Welcome program. It will be used to facilitate your participation in the Kahoot quiz.

By choosing to use this service you consent to the disclosure of your personal information in this manner and for the purposes described above and to its storage outside Canada.
