Internship in Contemporary Arts Position Description
 
Welcome
The School for the Contemporary Arts offers its students the opportunity to participate in an Internship in Contemporary Arts in order for them to creatively apply what they learn in the classroom through a hands-on learning experience with a community arts organization. Students receive academic credit towards their degree by participating in the internship.
What is required of a host organization?
* An unpaid volunteer position of either 80 or 120 hours over 4 months. Exact hours will depend on the internship * A willingness to assign a supervisor to work with the student to meet learning objectives * Participate in a site visit mid-way through the internship, and a final evaluation of the student's experience * A desire to cultivate the student's curiosity outside of the classroom
